A collision led to CanarioMza getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Uriel Darien hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Ming in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Carlos Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Libesoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ming in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Terremoto FC's Shi Ming made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco Fillol was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in CanarioMza's zone, Shi Ming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Fillol came out of the goal and Shi Ming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Terremoto FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Terremoto FC's Shi Ming looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by CanarioMza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hilario Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Terremoto FC's players had a chance to rest. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hilario Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, CanarioMza's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming came free, but Loco Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Shi Ming made a precise shot to the right of Loco Fillol. CanarioMza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Terremoto FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Petersson made a kick off. After some careless play in the CanarioMza defense, Shi Ming kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Fillol. The CanarioMza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Fillol should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Chatzistavrou came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Shi Ming sped through CanarioMza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loco Fillol. 61 minutes into the match, CanarioMza's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. Cox came free, but Loco Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes CanarioMza got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Alonso. After some careless play in the CanarioMza defense, Shi Ming kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Fillol. The CanarioMza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Fillol should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 72 in the game by Shi Ming from a close distance when the talented Loco Fillol managed to make a qualified save. CanarioMza's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Petersson in the 73rd minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Darien in the 81st minute of play. With his leg Loco Fillol managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Terremoto FC's Shi Ming fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind CanarioMza's goalkeeper Loco Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when CanarioMza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Anastasio Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CanarioMza and the Terremoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
