Leopardi were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after Gran Pauta AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Israel Perfecto took the corner. Leopardi's Eleuterio Loiola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Tyskie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pierce Cambridge was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Eleuterio Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Senin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Israel Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Tyskie having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Leopardi's Israel Perfecto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Tyskie was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hector Senin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leopardi's protests and gave Hector Senin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Leopardi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Senin to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Israel Perfecto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gran Pauta AFC's Herbert Tyskie. Herbert Tyskie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inocencio Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Loiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Tyskie was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Inocencio Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Edgard Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gerardo Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Tyskie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half Leopardi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Perfecto came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Perfecto in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Perfecto got free with Herbert Tyskie in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Celipe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Min's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Gran Pauta AFC's Herbert Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Loiola in the 63rd minute of play. If Ciro Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Peru took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Celipe. Gerardo Celipe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gustavo Precioso struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Herbert Tyskie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leopardi. In the 77th minute Edgard Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopardi's Gerardo Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Goiz in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Israel Perfecto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herbert Tyskie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 85th minute, Rosendo Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
