The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Filipo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Jurgi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Filipo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Filipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Jurgi made a huge save. Fabio Filipo ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Sarandi Futbol Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Jurgi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Filipo. Thanks to some nice moves Fabio Filipo could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Lorenzo Jurgi however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Fabio Filipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Jurgi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Filipo in the 25th minute of play forced Sarandi Futbol Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Filipo got free with Lorenzo Jurgi in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Isidoro Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Uzcudun AFC's Jonatan Mateo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zeledon Victoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Cupial in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Victoro saved Uzcudun AFC from getting behind. Stephan Rille made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidoro Haritzeder however managed to control. In the 37th match minute, Sarandi Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Nahia to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Uzcudun AFC's Fabio Filipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Jurgi. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Lorenzo Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Lehen in the 43rd minute of the match. Fabio Filipo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Jurgi having to make a save. Sarandi Futbol Club's Lorenzo Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sarandi Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Uzcudun AFC booed when Sarandi Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charalambos Nalitzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslaw Cupial was the one to do the kick off. Miroslaw Cupial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zeledon Victoro made a huge save. Bernardo Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lorenzo Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Filipo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Lorenzo Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzcudun AFC. Lorenzo Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Filipo in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sarandi Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Filipo came free, but Lorenzo Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match, Simon Gaizko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeledon Victoro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Sarandi Futbol Club's Stephan Rille got a free kick in the 69th minute. Uzcudun AFC's Beto Acosta was substituted for Fabio Filipo. In the 70th minute, Stephan Rille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Abel Jerico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Jurgi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Beto Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Sarandi Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Acosta came free, but Lorenzo Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Acosta in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Uzcudun AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jonatan Mateo hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Sarandi Futbol Club's Isidoro Haritzeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Victoro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarandi Futbol Club reached it. When Beto Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Uzcudun AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Acosta couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Uzcudun AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarandi Futbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
