The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Nalitzis got free with Herbert Tyskie in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Norberto Maxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gran Pauta AFC and the Sarandi Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Goiz to make the kick off. Herbert Tyskie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Nahia came free, but Herbert Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Tyskie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Miroslaw Cupial's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Tyskie was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gran Pauta AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
