In the 18th minute Ambrosio Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Perfecto came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enzo Uzuri could save by the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Perfecto made a kick off. Wincenty Bucyki might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerardo Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincenty Bucyki ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopardi's Gerardo Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Bucyki in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Medardo got free with Gerardo Celipe in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, Sportivo Constitución's Norberto Theodore made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sportivo Constitución's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
