Elvio Lluc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gran Pauta AFC. Gran Pauta AFC's Edgard Goiz got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvio Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Goiz in the 27th minute of the match. Aureliano Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elvio Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Gran Pauta AFC's Edgard Goiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Lluc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abelardo Umea fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Abelardo Umea a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Norberto Maxin came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Gran Pauta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Maxin couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Goiz was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Norberto Maxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gran Pauta AFC and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norberto Maxin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Emiliano Bizi scored 1-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Tyskie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvio Lluc was a little too slow when Edgard Goiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Goiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elvio Lluc. That made the score 1-4 in the 63 minute of play. Silverio Gartzea's late challenge caught a Gran Pauta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Gartzea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Silverio Gartzea hit a great ball. Eduardo Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Silverio Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gran Pauta AFC's goalkeeper Herbert Tyskie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Tyskie having to interfere. Gran Pauta AFC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Rosario Central's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norberto Maxin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rosendo Madeo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edgard Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Elvio Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eduardo Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
