In the 6th minute, Eugenio Ruy made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Mel. BALLESTER F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jeronimo Ellande's late challenge caught a Martindo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Ellande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Jeronimo Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Gentric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Martindo fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Martindo's Pascal Gentric looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eusebio Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, one of BALLESTER F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BALLESTER F.C.. Eusebio Mel had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Adrian Teofilio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 黄德榕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Lamego in the 26th minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Pascal Gentric made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. BALLESTER F.C.'s Eusebio Mel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascal Gentric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eusebio Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Eugenio Ruy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martindo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Enmanuel during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BALLESTER F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnaldo Enmanuel hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Isidro Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martindo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Herensuge to make the kick off. If Charly Uchiha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Mel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascal Gentric in the 58th minute. Ezequiel Artizar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Martindo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 65 played minutes BALLESTER F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Enmanuel. With his leg Eusebio Mel managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Martindo's Charly Uchiha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute, Cândido Lamego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Felipe Herensuge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BALLESTER F.C. and the Martindo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Pascal Gentric's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Mel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 81 minutes, Pascal Gentric made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. BALLESTER F.C.'s Eusebio Mel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Mel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Charly Uchiha sent off a good shot on target. Cândido Lamego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Charly Uchiha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martindo's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly Uchiha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Mel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BALLESTER F.C. booed when Martindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
