André Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaby Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaby Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Aurelio Astudillo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg. But to his dismay, Sven Thorsberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 10 minutes Don Malbec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mercado Paulista who took care of the corner kick. The corner led El retorno del Pincha's Ernesto Tristezza to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Astudillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Thorsberg in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El retorno del Pincha's Abelardo Abechuco got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes, Don Malbec's Alberto Udalaitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Zonta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Don Malbec reached it. Don Malbec's Aurelio Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Don Malbec from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Lope in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Roulin came free, but André Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Black hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Roulin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aurelio Astudillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Thorsberg in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Maximino Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Don Malbec's Aurelio Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Don Malbec from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Don Malbec's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Abechuco came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Lope was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aurelio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Lope in the 46th minute of play. Aurelio Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Sven Thorsberg sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Lope stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Thorsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mercado Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aurelio Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Udalaitz. When the referee ended the match the El retorno del Pincha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
