When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Radomil Mietus put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Melchor Baudelio. Sebastian Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Baudelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes TANLONGO AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Przybylo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Club Sportivo Quilmes's Edmílson Martins to fire away a dangerous shot which Melchor Baudelio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Melchor Baudelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Mietus in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Baudelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radomil Mietus scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Baudelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by TANLONGO AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waldemar Przybylo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sportivo Quilmes's players had a chance to rest. Waldemar Przybylo made a great header on Club Sportivo Quilmes's corner, it was just that TANLONGO AFC's Melchor Baudelio managed to reach the ball for a save. 1-4 became the score in the 37th minute when Radomil Mietus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Federico Totakoxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Baudelio was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Federico Totakoxe made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. TANLONGO AFC's Melchor Baudelio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Martins in the 58th minute of play forced TANLONGO AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TANLONGO AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Sebastian Verón scored to the left of an out of position Melchor Baudelio, making the score, 1-7. Edmílson Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Emanuel Ladio was substituted for Silverio Chuan. Federico Totakoxe took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Baudelio. Melchor Baudelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Pastor Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Che in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of TANLONGO AFC booed when Club Sportivo Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Sportivo Quilmes's Sebastian Verón slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melchor Baudelio. That made the score 1-9 after 80 minutes of play. When Anacleto Monico came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Sportivo Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Monico couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes TANLONGO AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Araoz. In the 85th match minute, TANLONGO AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Baudelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anacleto Monico went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Sebastian Verón took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Melchor Baudelio to make any attempt to save it. The TANLONGO AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Sportivo Quilmes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
