The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Mario Rico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TANLONGO AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter MIAMI the free kick. Mario Rico hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. TANLONGO AFC's Melchor Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Guillerme in the 4th minute of play. Ariel Ilazki's late challenge caught a Inter MIAMI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Ilazki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TANLONGO AFC's Ariel Ilazki got a free kick in the 6th minute. Melchor Baudelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Rafe went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Candido Matai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter MIAMI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Modesto Malvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Baudelio. TANLONGO AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Malvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Inter MIAMI's Roberto Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Baudelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. TANLONGO AFC's Melchor Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Steven in the 20th minute of play. Horacio Guillerme scored 0-5 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Baudelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchor Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Malvin in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TANLONGO AFC defense, Horacio Guillerme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Baudelio. The TANLONGO AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Baudelio should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Inter MIAMI's Leon Montrell got a free kick in the 29th minute. Melchor Baudelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Guillerme went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Melchor Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Drab, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Melchor Baudelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Drab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roberto Rafe in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Melchor Baudelio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Melchor Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Matai in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes TANLONGO AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Malvin who took care of the corner kick. Freddy Goi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Armando Bixintxo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TANLONGO AFC's protests and gave Armando Bixintxo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Inter MIAMI booed when TANLONGO AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Bixintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter MIAMI made a substitution. Raimundo Playo replaced Modesto Malvin. After a rather tough play, TANLONGO AFC's Armando Bixintxo got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Horacio Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Inter MIAMI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Guillerme couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Inter MIAMI booed when TANLONGO AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Matai in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Aleksander Czapski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, TANLONGO AFC's Melchor Baudelio got control of the ball when Roberto Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd play minute Roberto Rafe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Melchor Baudelio. 0-11. 85 minutes into the game, Inter MIAMI's Candido Matai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Baudelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Melchor Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Candido Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Baudelio came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter MIAMI's Raimundo Playo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Playo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. The TANLONGO AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter MIAMI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
