Leroy Sane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Quilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Maiorga in the 16th minute of play forced Colonia Taranco FC's goalkeeper Braulio Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Leroy Sane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Quilo. Los Quemeros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leroy Sane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Leroy Sane sped through Los Quemeros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aristides Quilo. Leroy Sane scored 5-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Quilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Colonia Taranco FC's Leroy Sane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Aristides Quilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 64th minute, Sabin Udrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Quilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Colonia Taranco FC made a substitution. Leonel Paul replaced Aquiles Elorri.
