The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Presebal in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Urdin in the 6th minute of play forced Sisiguasi AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Agustin Merexildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Goyeneta was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Carlos Goyeneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Merexildo in the 13th minute of the match. If Agustin Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sisiguasi AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Javiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sisiguasi AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Cayetano Urdin scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Javiar, making the score, 2-0. Sisiguasi AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Serafino Guillem scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Javiar, making the score, 3-0. Artemio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Gaviotas FC were awarded a corner. Leon Eguzki went to the cornerflag to take it. Sisiguasi AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Cayetano Urdin scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Javiar, making the score, 4-0. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Artemio Javiar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Gaviotas FC's Cayetano Urdin in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sisiguasi AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Urdin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Javiar saved Sisiguasi AFC from getting behind. Cayetano Urdin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artemio Javiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Cayetano Urdin slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. Gaviotas FC's Clemente Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Merexildo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Otsoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Otsoa made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sisiguasi AFC's Benjamin Suarez. After having played for 81 minutes, Dênis Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sisiguasi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Cayetano Urdin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Presebal came free, but Carlos Goyeneta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Javiar came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaviotas FC's Sebastian Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Sebastian Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The supporters of Sisiguasi AFC booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Sisiguasi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Presebal to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Taco Huizinga notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Sisiguasi AFC's Artemio Javiar. Artemio Javiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaviotas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
