The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Cayetano Urdin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Frederico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Urdin in the 17th minute of play forced Ernestina FC's goalkeeper Jose Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Urdin in the 23rd minute of the match. Cayetano Urdin scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Frederico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ernestina FC's goalkeeper Jose Frederico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Cayetano Urdin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Gaviotas FC's Cayetano Urdin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Jose Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Gaviotas FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Claude to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Urdin had several of the Ernestina FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Jose Frederico as he didn't even see the shot coming. Radojko Lončar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Ernestina FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Goito. Jorge Naike kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Clemente Claude dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jose Frederico, 0-10. Gaviotas FC's Sebastian Cresenciano was substituted for Clemente Claude. In the 73rd minute, Gaviotas FC's Sebastian Cresenciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Frederico. Jose Frederico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Sebastian Cresenciano took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Frederico. Jose Frederico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ernestina FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Sebastian Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jose Frederico made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Cayetano Urdin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Frederico. Ernestina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Urdin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. In the 90th minute, Orlando Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Sebastian Cresenciano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jose Frederico, 0-14. Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ernestina FC from getting a goal against them.
