The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Garrapatita Futbol's Isidoro Toribio got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Teo Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fecha Libre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Mouricio couldn't finish the play. In the 7thth minute of the game Teo Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garrapatita Futbol's Hermengildo Jaume was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amador Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hermengildo Jaume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fecha Libre. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Fernan Garoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Fecha Libre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Garoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Roldan in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Garrapatita Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Cresenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Garoa in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Caetano. In the 36thth minute of the game Fernan Garoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Garoa came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Garoa in the 43rd minute of play. Garrapatita Futbol's Baltasar Millano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Everardo Ellande in the 45 minute of the game. The Fecha Libre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garrapatita Futbol were winning 0-1.

Isidoro Toribio took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Martínez. Emiliano Martínez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 60th minute, Ignacio Cresenciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Garrapatita Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cresenciano. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Martínez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alan Turin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Hermengildo Jaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igli Tare, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Igli Tare sped through Garrapatita Futbol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Jaume. Garrapatita Futbol made a substitution. Siro Sindo replaced Alan Turin. Hermengildo Jaume came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Fecha Libre's Igli Tare. But to his dismay, Igli Tare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ulises Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garrapatita Futbol's Hermengildo Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igli Tare in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garrapatita Futbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Kelemen was slow to take the kick. During this time Fecha Libre's players had a chance to rest. Although Fecha Libre had been in control for most of the match, Garrapatita Futbol still came away with the win.
