In the 10th match minute, y va el 3ro.... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Dominix to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Spams were awarded a corner. Gaston Caetano went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind y va el 3ro....'s goalkeeper Cornelio Quintana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Spams's Ernesto Chinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Quintana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andoni Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Dominix in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Ernesto Chinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Quintana. y va el 3ro....'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Chinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 39th minute, Ernesto Chinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Quintana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 44th minute Ernesto Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Restu made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alvaro Boniel immediately put the ball in play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Dominix to strike the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Quintana was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Abel Mazza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Mazza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Cornelio Quintana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Mazza in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind y va el 3ro....'s goalkeeper Cornelio Quintana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Spams's corner Agustin Donio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornelio Quintana quite easily take care of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Abel Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Quintana. Abel Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 66th minute Abel Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When y va el 3ro....'s Fernando Gau in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cornelio Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Mazza in the 87th minute of play. In the 98th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Donio to maneuver through the defense. The y va el 3ro.... fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spams were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
