In the 4th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Judas Verón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silvano Portillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Saturnino Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Raggio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Portillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 29th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Silvano Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Gică Bogdan. Judas Verón might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Portillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Judas Verón ran back to his position shaking his head. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Blue Dolar took the corner. Clemente Gaizkine hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Belgrano de Pibasog's Melquiades Henrico was substituted for Honorato Jerrold. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgrano de Pibasog! Belgrano de Pibasog:s Bernardo Raggio showed great skill when he stopped Saturnino Romo:s penalty. After some careless play in the Belgrano de Pibasog defense, Saturnino Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Raggio. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Raggio should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Judas Verón to make the kick off. Bernardo Raggio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Romo in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Xacintu who took care of the corner kick. 61 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Garcia Morros came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Abadia hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Elberg As replaced Tudor Hurezeanu. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Juli Alvarez was substituted for Saturnino Romo. In the 67th minute, Silvio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Gaxan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tobias Xacintu hit a great ball. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Morros in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Judas Verón notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo. Silvano Portillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Clemente Gaizkine in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Abel Caitano. In the 77th minute, Judas Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Silvio Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Fortun hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Juli Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juli Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Guaberto Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Ilinca in the 98th minute of play. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
