In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Dantae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Arnulfo Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Lechuguitas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Paz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Mikelar in the 90th minute of play forced Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Tallia in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Matthew saved Huarriors AFC from getting behind. Jeremias Mikelar scored 2-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Matthew, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Lechuguitas F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lechuguitas F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
