The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chelco FC's Saverio Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Piarres in the 3rd minute of play. Julian Silviano struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ildefonso Bartolome didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelco FC. 11 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's Julian Silviano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Bartolome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Silviano scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildefonso Bartolome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Julian Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Bartolome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Silviano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's Julian Silviano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Bartolome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ildefonso Bartolome came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelco FC's Julian Silviano. But to his dismay, Julian Silviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Silviano in the 30th minute of play forced TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalkeeper Ildefonso Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Julian Silviano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Bartolome having to make a save. Ildefonso Bartolome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goalkeeper Ildefonso Bartolome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chelco FC's Rigoberto Orixe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vicente Sayveon, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 44 minutes, Rogelio Fe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Fe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chelco FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Silviano was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's Julian Silviano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Bartolome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafin Dabi came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ildefonso Bartolome could save by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Julian Silviano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Bartolome. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Silviano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Chelco FC's Ciro Pellegrini was substituted for Julian Silviano. 63 minutes into the match, Ciro Pellegrini notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Ildefonso Bartolome. Ildefonso Bartolome was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Bartolome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Pellegrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chelco FC's Serafin Dabi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Pellegrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Bartolome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Luciano Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ciro Pellegrini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Ildefonso Bartolome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 defense, Ciro Pellegrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ildefonso Bartolome. The TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ildefonso Bartolome should have stopped the shot. The Chelco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
