Martin Palermos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Edward Peczkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Magic is Back's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cordarrol came free, but Ruben Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ruben Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Peczkowski having to interfere. Adolfo Cordarrol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match C. A. BELGRANO got a corner. Magic is Back's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 姜亮伟 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After recieving a nice pass, Magic is Back's Marcelo Trobbiani tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Cordarrol to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Luis Medero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Peczkowski came out of the goal and Luis Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magic is Back's Roland Schiavi was substituted for Marcelo Trobbiani. Edward Peczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Marangoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Magic is Back's Roberto Mouzo was substituted for Roberto Rogel. Magic is Back were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after C. A. BELGRANO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastián Battaglia took the corner. If Martin Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Palermo came free, but Edward Peczkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. BELGRANO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastián Battaglia was slow to take the kick. During this time Magic is Back's players had a chance to rest. 86 minutes into the game, Claudio Marangoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magic is Back's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. BELGRANO the free kick. After 87 played minutes Magic is Back got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Marangoni. Edward Peczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Martin Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. BELGRANO's Edward Peczkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Peczkowski was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, C.
