San Miguel City's Geronimo Lertxun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save San Miguel City from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Geronimo Lertxun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, San Miguel City's Julio Rufio got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Mitutonio F. C.'s Gavino Gau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Lertxun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes San Miguel City got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Justin. In the 31st match minute, San Miguel City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Rufio to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, San Miguel City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Colas to maneuver through the defense. San Miguel City were furious when Cecilio Jeraldo was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Nigbor to make the kick off. If Adam Nigbor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Blades recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Miguel City's goalkeeper Geronimo Lertxun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Mitutonio F. C. were awarded a corner. Gavino Gau went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Miguel City's goalie and right to Nildo Perez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Miguel City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Natalio Gagriel fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitutonio F. C.'s protests and gave Natalio Gagriel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Mitutonio F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bin Abbiati having to interfere. Paulo Admon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Augusto Gaizkine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mitutonio F. C.'s Bin Abbiati didn't even have to move.
