Bin Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Mitutonio F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Nigbor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Pablo Aimar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Real Madrid FC's Ruben Virila got control of the ball when Adam Nigbor tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Real Madrid FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gabriel Hauche hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Nigbor in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Virila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Nigbor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ruben Virila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Aimar in the 27th minute of play forced Real Madrid FC's goalkeeper Ruben Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitutonio F. C. were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Real Madrid FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gavino Gau took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gavino Gau got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Virila quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gabriel Hauche hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Real Madrid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Pablo Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Adam Nigbor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid FC's zone, Pablo Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Virila came out of the goal and Pablo Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Nigbor in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Virila saved Real Madrid FC from getting behind. Ruben Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Blades, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes, Adam Nigbor made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Madrid FC's Ruben Virila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. C.'s Gavino Gau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruben Virila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 84 played minutes Mitutonio F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Admon. 87 minutes into the match, Pablo Aimar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Virila. Real Madrid FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Aimar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ruben Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Blades in the 92nd minute of play. Pablo Aimar scored 7-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Virila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mitutonio F. C. fully deserved thier win.
