In the 4th minute, Augusto Gaizkine made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Argoitz. Rock Espacial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eugenio Colas's late challenge caught a Rock Espacial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Colas helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenio Colas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to San Miguel City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Julio Rufio hit a great ball. Geronimo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Lertxun made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Aloísio de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of San Miguel City booed when Rock Espacial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekai Zeki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Gaizkine hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rock Espacial's Hilario Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Unax in the 19th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Geronimo Lertxun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Geronimo Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bermúdez in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, San Miguel City's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Peio came free, but Geronimo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Bermúdez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Lertxun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, San Miguel City's goalkeeper Geronimo Lertxun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio de Almeida. A collision led to Rock Espacial getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dário Meireles hit a great ball. Felipe Bermúdez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Nunez Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Rock Espacial's Aloísio de Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Lertxun. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aloísio de Almeida made a kick off. Geronimo Lertxun came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Rock Espacial's Fernando Peio. But to his dismay, Fernando Peio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, San Miguel City's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Bermúdez came free, but Geronimo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Miguel City's Geronimo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio de Almeida in the 60th minute of play. Geronimo Lertxun didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rock Espacial's Felipe Bermúdez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rock Espacial's Prudencio Remicio was substituted for Aloísio de Almeida. 76 minutes into the match, Prudencio Remicio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Lertxun. San Miguel City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Remicio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The audience was convinced that Felipe Bermúdez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Lertxun was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The Rock Espacial fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Rock Espacial's Fernando Peio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 87 minutes of play, Rock Espacial's Prudencio Remicio made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes San Miguel City got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Unax. 91 minutes into the match, San Miguel City's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Peio came free, but Geronimo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Bermúdez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Rock Espacial players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
