Aloísio de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Felipe Bermúdez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Casado Tramarria to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Argoitz having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Felipe Bermúdez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordenave's Casado Tramarria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casado Tramarria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio de Almeida in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Bordenave's goalkeeper Casado Tramarria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio de Almeida. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio de Almeida got free with Casado Tramarria in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aloísio de Almeida in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casado Tramarria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute Rock Espacial were awarded a corner. Pastor Lorenz went to the cornerflag to take it. Fernando Peio made a great header on Rock Espacial's corner, it was just that Bordenave's Casado Tramarria managed to reach the ball for a save. Rock Espacial's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Lorenz in the 43rd minute. The corner led Rock Espacial's Fernando Peio to fire away a dangerous shot which Casado Tramarria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Casado Tramarria was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Felipe Bermúdez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Bermúdez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0.

The wind increased when Bill Sugden made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bordenave booed when Rock Espacial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casado Tramarria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 65 minutes, Felipe Bermúdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rock Espacial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Bermúdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rock Espacial made a substitution. Roberto Viator replaced Niceto Caton. Casado Tramarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Bermúdez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Bordenave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Sugden to maneuver through the defense. Casado Tramarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Peio in the 96th minute of play. Bordenave's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
