Severo Ereinotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomiro Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Venerando in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Blanco in the 13th minute of play forced EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Severo Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Donato Goiano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Severo Ereinotz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anselmo Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Melquiades Blanco in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severo Ereinotz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 31st minute, Zeledon Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Blanco in the 32nd minute of play. When Chaján's Melquiades Blanco in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Chaján fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Chaján's Melquiades Blanco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the match, Chaján's goal looked a bit too open when Lili Oddang came free, but Baldomiro Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Donato Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaján's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Ereinotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lili Oddang to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Gökalp Saylan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Blanco in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Blanco in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Ereinotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 54 minutes, Melquiades Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Ereinotz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaján's Donato Goiano. But to his dismay, Donato Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Blanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Ereinotz was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Melquiades Blanco put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severo Ereinotz. In the 66th minute, Zeledon Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Ereinotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Blanco in the 67th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Desiderio Atarrabi put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Lili Oddang got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baldomiro Sindo. In the 72nd match minute, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Severo Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chaján were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnulfo Frichoso took the corner. The corner ended in Arnulfo Frichoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz did a great save. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. After 87 played minutes EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Vigil. After some careless play in the EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB defense, Donato Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Ereinotz. The EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Ereinotz should have stopped the shot. Chaján walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
