A collision led to Salta Futbol Club getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Stéphane Le Thiec hit a great ball. Jimeno Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Paulinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Salta Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Gonçalves came free, but Jimeno Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Van Denayer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Paulinho Gonçalves scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Paulinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estación Q.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Teodor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulinho Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Teodor having to make a save. Jimeno Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Gonçalves in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Paulinho Gonçalves made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Estación Q.'s Paulinho Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Teodor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Salta Futbol Club defense, Paulinho Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Teodor. The Salta Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Teodor should have stopped the shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was a well-played corner which Hector Abadia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Salta Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estación Q.:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Paulinho Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Estación Q.'s Paulinho Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Teodor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimeno Teodor stood somewhat misplaced when Paulinho Gonçalves came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Estación Q.'s Tadeo Lesardo was substituted for Paulinho Gonçalves. Tadeo Lesardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Jimeno Teodor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Estación Q.'s Tadeo Lesardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimeno Teodor. That made the score 0-6 after 68 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Salta Futbol Club defense, Tadeo Lesardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Teodor. The Salta Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Teodor should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Lesardo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Teodor saved Salta Futbol Club from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Estación Q.'s Tadeo Lesardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jimeno Teodor. Jimeno Teodor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. 87 minutes in the game Stéphane Le Thiec did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavio Mede. 89 minutes into the match, Tadeo Lesardo notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor. Jimeno Teodor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Salta Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Lesardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Salta Futbol Club's Jimeno Teodor got control of the ball when Tadeo Lesardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 97th minute, but Jimeno Teodor got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Salta Futbol Club hanging dry this time. Estación Q. played a much better game than Salta Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Salta Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
