When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Taaniel Hill sped through Arsenal Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romão Peseiro. 15 minutes into the match, Arsenal Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Taaniel Hill came free, but Romão Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taaniel Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romão Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taaniel Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Arsenal Fc defense, Taaniel Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romão Peseiro. The Arsenal Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romão Peseiro should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Santiago to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Dei in the 52nd minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romão Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taaniel Hill in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Brown Puerto Madryn getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution. Xurde Campoamor replaced Pál Dömötör. Brown Puerto Madryn's Gerd Treial was substituted for Anton Eriksson. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romão Peseiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romão Peseiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Salvidor went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Ladislao Salvidor put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romão Peseiro. Ladislao Salvidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romão Peseiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Salvidor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96thth minute of the game Ladislao Salvidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal Fc's Romão Peseiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
