With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Indartsu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Fagildo saved Chañaritos FC from getting behind. Erik Gentiletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jimeno Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chañaritos FC's Melquiades Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Indartsu in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salta Futbol Club's Laureano Felipo got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Salta Futbol Club's Flavio Mede sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Fagildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Indartsu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Alejandro Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Chañaritos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Indartsu came free, but Melquiades Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Indartsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Flavio Mede hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Flavio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jimeno Teodor made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Rolando Rolon sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Chañaritos FC's Dionisio Enaut to a score. 1-1 in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Salta Futbol Club booed when Chañaritos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Indartsu in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Salta Futbol Club's Flavio Mede ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Fagildo. Melquiades Fagildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Rolando Rolon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jimeno Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Rolon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stéphane Le Thiec's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melquiades Fagildo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Chañaritos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Indartsu came free, but Melquiades Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Indartsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alejandro Indartsu scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Fagildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Alejandro Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Malte Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Salta Futbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chañaritos FC throughout the match.
