La Pantera Azulgrana's Mati Suárez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victorio Rumaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Bob Marley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorio Rumaldo. The goal made the score 1-0. Anacleto Karmel made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benedicto Gamus immediately put the ball in play. Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Václav Lux in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Victorio Rumaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bob Marley. The corner led La Pantera Azulgrana's Mati Suárez to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorio Rumaldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 41st minute, Denis Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bob Marley managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pantera Azulgrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Marley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Marley in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Rumaldo saved INDEPENDIENTE from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Anacleto Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bob Marley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Rumaldo having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Victorio Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Marley in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Bob Marley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Victorio Rumaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Victorio Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Václav Lux tried to sneak it across the goal line. INDEPENDIENTE's Victorio Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mati Suárez in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Marley in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Rumaldo saved INDEPENDIENTE from getting behind. Bob Marley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Rumaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anacleto Karmel hit a great ball. The La Pantera Azulgrana support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
