Leonel Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Aietes Rigatos sent off a good shot on target. Furia Albiceleste's Leonel Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Furia Albiceleste from getting a goal against them. Adrianinho Meirelles took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Rodriguez. Leonel Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aietes Rigatos got free with Leonel Rodriguez in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ramon Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aietes Rigatos in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Furia Albiceleste's Leopoldo Otsando got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Ricardo Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Oinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aietes Rigatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Meirelles came free, but Leonel Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's Ivan Pillud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Ugutz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonel Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Oinaz in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Silvanito. Correla q va en Chancleta were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Furia Albiceleste's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Paez took the corner. In the 73rd minute Tomás Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Gendolla hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Furia Albiceleste made a substitution. Arnaud Billen replaced Aaron Raulo. The throw-in from Artur Gendolla in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Correla q va en Chancleta's Ivan Laurgain. Leonel Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Gaizko in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Albiceleste's goalkeeper Leonel Rodriguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Furia Albiceleste's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
