Isidro Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Monky FC's Patricio Mannuel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorin Tâmbalari was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Mwanza Mukombo F.C.'s Felipe Tajo threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silverio Fertus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36thth minute of the game Håkan Wennersten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mwanza Mukombo F.C.'s Dorin Tâmbalari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Hustaz got free with Felipe Tajo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Dorin Tâmbalari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Mannuel in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Fertus in the 46th minute of play forced Monky FC's goalkeeper Felipe Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Monky FC's Håkan Wennersten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorin Tâmbalari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Mannuel to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Klement Orlicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Monky FC's Justino Tadzio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Justino Tadzio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monky FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Justino Tadzio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monky FC! Felipe Tajo had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Klement Orlicki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Patricio Mannuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Tâmbalari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Orlicki in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monky FC made a substitution. Svante Ahlberg replaced Håkan Wennersten. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Mwanza Mukombo F.C. got a corner. Monky FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvano Tab ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 73rd minute Andres Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Fertus in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Monky FC booed when Mwanza Mukombo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
