Albino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Dabi got free with Juan Giraldo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Marcones came free, but Albino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 31st minute of play. Albino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Chap in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Narciso Chap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Chap might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Berriotxoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Chap ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Dabi made a kick off. In the 54th minute Juan Raúl Amuchástegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Juan Raúl Amuchástegui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albino Berriotxoa. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 95th minute of the match Loren Eaton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Giraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Forever Tango walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
