Galmock FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Hanot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galmock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Valentine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Hotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Roldan couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Galmock FC were awarded a corner. Cesar Belo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Galmock FC's Claudio-Paul Caniggia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Valentin Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudio-Paul Caniggia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Hotz having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Valentine came free, but Juan Hotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
