Arthur Morgan´s Club were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Alvi Boton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Balendin took the corner. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Clodoveo Feliz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nereo Jurgi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nereo Jurgi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Calleri's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Alvi Boton's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Calleri came free, but Nereo Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Calleri might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Jurgi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Calleri ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonathan Calleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alvi Boton's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Balendin was slow to take the kick. During this time Arthur Morgan´s Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Balendin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nereo Jurgi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Jonathan Calleri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Jurgi was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
