The Phoenix Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Phoenix Athletic's Dimitri Leconte got control of the ball when Teobaldo Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ildefonso Pasqual ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 25th minute of the match, Teobaldo Ubarna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dimitri Leconte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Pasqual in the 31st minute of play. Lucio Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lastur having to interfere. Teobaldo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitri Leconte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Edelmiro Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Dimitri Leconte threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Laurentzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Athletic's zone, Teobaldo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitri Leconte came out of the goal and Teobaldo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Saturnino Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Teobaldo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Leconte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Ubarna to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Ubarna in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitri Leconte saved Phoenix Athletic from getting behind. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Leandro Laurentzi suffered a sore thigh after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 52 minutes into the game, Efrain Ieltxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Renacer del Quijano FC the free kick. Dimitri Leconte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Raymond in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Athletic's Ettore Marcolongo got a free kick in the 71st minute. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Andres Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save El Renacer del Quijano FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Maurin in the 75th minute of play forced Phoenix Athletic's goalkeeper Dimitri Leconte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Lucio Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitri Leconte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dimitri Leconte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Raymond in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitri Leconte was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Roldanillo in the 89th minute of the match. Peneios Protopsaltis's late challenge caught a Phoenix Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peneios Protopsaltis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peneios Protopsaltis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Andres Lastur got control of the ball when Edelmiro Pagomari tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Phoenix Athletic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
