The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Rozarius got free with Claudio Normando in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Errapel came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Eneko Vallines got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne FC's Maximino Errapel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aquiles Jeraldo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Claudio Normando didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Normando was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Normando was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Saint Etienne FC's Luis Marz was substituted for Juan Enekoitz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Gigliotti was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Maximino Errapel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Marz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Valentin Porfiro made a huge save. After 62 played minutes Saint Etienne FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Cristofor. Eneko Vallines was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polat Aranda to maneuver through the defense. Saint Etienne FC made a substitution. Alejo Telesforo replaced Fernando Ferdinand. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Polat Aranda got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Izel in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Normando saved Saint Etienne FC from getting behind. Claudio Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Maximino Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Etienne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Normando was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Gilberto Izel notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Saint Etienne FC's Claudio Normando. Claudio Normando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tolek Wojno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Claudio Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Eduino in the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saint Etienne FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Scaloneta.
