The audience was convinced that Franky Dhondt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Lorenz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Dhondt came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Franky Dhondt could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Donato Lorenz however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Triantafyllou in the 46th minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Euloxu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 51st minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Donato Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, 狄钢远 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's supporters crossed their fingers, but 狄钢远 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Bennvar Back looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bennvar Back in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Lorenz saved Granate from getting behind. Modesto Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Back in the 71st minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Donato Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granate's goalkeeper Donato Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Bennvar Back left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Donato Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Donato Lorenz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Back's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
