Dalmacio Olivar might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Quinten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Olivar ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sixto Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Olivar in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Macario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Calvino got free with Sixto Quinten in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Düsseldorf FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Qiu Lin Yi hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Dario Arias. In the 60th minute, Düsseldorf FC's Qiu Lin Yi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Granate's zone, Dalmacio Olivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Quinten came out of the goal and Dalmacio Olivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Quinten stood somewhat misplaced when Alvaro Calvino came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. After 72 played minutes Düsseldorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Ihazintu. Qiu Lin Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sixto Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Usko Ruuttu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelios Kopanaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Sixto Quinten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Salomon went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Ziemowit Czerwinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Düsseldorf FC's Dalmacio Olivar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sixto Quinten. Sixto Quinten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5.
