In the 9th minute, Matheu City FC's Mariano Egoitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mariano Egoitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Matheu City FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mariano Egoitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Matheu City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 12 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Olivar came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qiu Lin Yi scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celedonio Eguen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Düsseldorf FC's Stelios Kopanaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Manny in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Anier Manny put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stelios Kopanaras. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Olivar in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen got control of the ball when Alvaro Calvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Manny during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Matheu City FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Manny. 46 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Olivar came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Salomon.

The wind increased when Robinho Salgado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Salomon in the 54th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Teofilo Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Düsseldorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Kaxen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheu City FC made a substitution. Sixto Mon replaced Anier Manny. After 70 played minutes Düsseldorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Kaxen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Salgado got free with Stelios Kopanaras in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Teofilo Salomon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Eguen. Matheu City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Salomon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Olivar in the 80th minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Qiu Lin Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Teofilo Salomon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Eguen. Matheu City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Salomon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Düsseldorf FC had won after a very even match.
