In the 5th minute Enzo Scifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Globo Juniors's Arnaldo Suero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Islas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josue Montemayor. Casimiro Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Islas having to interfere. Luís Islas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Cordairo came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Francisco Lucas could save by the left post. Carlos Otsoa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Francisco Lucas came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Otsoa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute Enzo Scifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Islas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Las 3R Club De Fútbol's zone, Arnaldo Suero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Islas came out of the goal and Arnaldo Suero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Las 3R Club De Fútbol getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dante Urbes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Globo Juniors's Emanuel Bautista tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Globo Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Carlos Otsoa scored to the left of an out of position João Francisco Lucas, making the score, 2-1. In the 37th minute Arnaldo Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Islas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Globo Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Bautista in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josue Montemayor got free with João Francisco Lucas in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, Globo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Neto to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Suero came free, but Luís Islas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Acosta in the 45th minute of play forced Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Islas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Otsoa in the 47th minute of play forced Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Suero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Suero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Islas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. João Francisco Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josue Montemayor in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Globo Juniors booed when Las 3R Club De Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Carlos Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Enzo Scifo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Francisco Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Dodorol in the 64th minute of play forced Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes, Iker Cordairo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las 3R Club De Fútbol and the Globo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iker Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Arnaldo Suero might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Islas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Suero ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Globo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Suero. In the 79th minute Enzo Scifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Carlos Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. João Francisco Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Las 3R Club De Fútbol made a substitution. Renzo Rodrigo replaced Enzo Scifo. Luís Islas was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Arnaldo Suero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Suero really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Las 3R Club De Fútbol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
