The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Lesardo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Lesardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Lesardo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Globo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Socorro was slow to take the kick. During this time Chorroarín's players had a chance to rest. Sixto Aragones might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Francisco Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Aragones ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes, Hakkı Kenan Hükümran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Globo Juniors and the Chorroarín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Hakkı Kenan Hükümran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chorroarín's Narciso Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Chorroarín from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes Chorroarín got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Romero. Casimiro Porfiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Narciso Oinatz made a huge save. 48 minutes into the game, Miguel Alaminos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. João Francisco Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alvaro Aquino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. João Francisco Lucas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Mitxaut in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Mitxaut got free with João Francisco Lucas in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute of the match, Timoteo Arotza got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Francisco Lucas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute, Timoteo Arotza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Francisco Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Chorroarín played a much better game than Globo Juniors and deserved their victory. The Globo Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
