Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Victoro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dadá Martinez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Los once leones's Anibal Chayo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dadá Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mónos in the 17th minute. When Marno F.C.'s Igor Jokin in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Los once leones defense, Igor Jokin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Martinez. The Los once leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Martinez should have stopped the shot. Los once leones's Dadá Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jokin in the 32nd minute of play. Melchor Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Igor Jokin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dadá Martinez, 3-0. In the 45th minute Marno F.C. were awarded a corner. Zeledon Victoro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Zeledon Victoro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los once leones's Dadá Martinez did a great save. The Marno F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Marno F.C.'s Igor Jokin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Izydor Klawke to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Los once leones's Melchor Ireno got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Los once leones defense, Lázaro Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Martinez. The Los once leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Martinez should have stopped the shot. Lázaro Cefero might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dadá Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Cefero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lázaro Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Marno F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Marno F.C.'s Lázaro Cefero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lázaro Cefero scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lázaro Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
