Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) San Lorenzo's Maximino Mazuste started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregorio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Mazuste in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Mazuste got free with Gregorio Lehior in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Mazuste in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Lehior saved Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting behind. Vilius Gudavičius scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Roldanillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damaso Roldanillo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Vilius Gudavičius. But to his dismay, Vilius Gudavičius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Damaso Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Anundsson in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Vilius Gudavičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilius Gudavičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Roldanillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damaso Roldanillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattin Solbeida went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Delmiro Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo's Damaso Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattin Solbeida in the 36th minute of play. If Claes Anundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Ezequiel Nesor got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Vilius Gudavičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Roldanillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattin Solbeida was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Roldanillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilius Gudavičius in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Zbyszek Scigan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo's Damaso Roldanillo did a great save. 62 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Maximino Mazuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Lehior made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After 64 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Lars Hansen. 66 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Vilius Gudavičius came free, but Damaso Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilius Gudavičius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damaso Roldanillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute, Mattin Solbeida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damaso Roldanillo. The goal made the score 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilius Gudavičius got free with Damaso Roldanillo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Dalmai during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Dalmai hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Mattin Solbeida came free, but Damaso Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tacheros de Buenos Aires walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
