Thanks to some nice moves Vilius Gudavičius could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Benigno Ur however easily saved by the left post. In the 6th minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Mattin Solbeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benigno Ur. Benigno Ur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Vilius Gudavičius made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Ur. Quilaquina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 14th minute Ali Haydar Tolgunay suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 14 minutes into the game, Guaberto Gauargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilaquina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacheros de Buenos Aires the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quilaquina FC's Guaberto Gauargi got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Cristian Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Anundsson got free with Benigno Ur in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Cristian Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilius Gudavičius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Benigno Ur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Tacheros de Buenos Aires booed when Quilaquina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Ur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilius Gudavičius went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Benigno Ur was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Mattin Solbeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mattin Solbeida really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. A collision led to Quilaquina FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bernabe Cruz hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Vilius Gudavičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattin Solbeida to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Claes Anundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Vilius Gudavičius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benigno Ur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Ur came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Mattin Solbeida. But to his dismay, Mattin Solbeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 60th minute Jan-Ove Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Ur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Quilaquina FC's Benigno Ur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Anundsson in the 63rd minute of play. Benigno Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilius Gudavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Vilius Gudavičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Ur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. The corner ended in Florentino Lesardo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quilaquina FC's Benigno Ur did a great save. In the 94th minute, Mattin Solbeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 13-0 became the score in the 97th minute when Mattin Solbeida elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tacheros de Buenos Aires fully deserved thier win.
