The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Labordense's Teodoro Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Labordense from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Maximo Chano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Cordarin in the 6th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Anastasio Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Oscar Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Teodoro Obano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Belgrano's Nicolas Tagliafico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 17 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Tagliafico. Oscar Ado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Boselli got free with Teodoro Obano in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Teodoro Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garðar Jóhannsson in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Obano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Labordense's Hugo Cordarin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Oscar Ado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Obano, 3-0. In the 44th minute, Hugo Cordarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Labordense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Garðar Jóhannsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Obano having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garðar Jóhannsson to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Belgrano's Garðar Jóhannsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Obano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Mauro Boselli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Labordense's Teodoro Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Ado in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Juan Bernat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Labordense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano the free kick. A collision led to Labordense getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Juan Bernat hit a great ball. Labordense's Federico Arnas was substituted for Hugo Cordarin. Juan Bernat hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Belgrano's Anastasio Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Arnas in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Efren got free with Anastasio Brais in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Labordense's Federico Arnas in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgrano's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Efrain Ilixo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anastasio Brais. The goal made the score 4-2. Federico Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anastasio Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Labordense's Federico Arnas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anastasio Brais. That made the score 4-3 after 92 minutes of play. After 97 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Martinez. Belgrano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
