Martin Elorri came out of the goal and Ariel Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ariel Alfonso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Martin Elorri was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Alejandro Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Puerto Unidos Sur defense, Ariel Alfonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Elorri. The Puerto Unidos Sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Elorri should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Ariel Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martin Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Ariel Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Alfonso in the 31st minute of play forced Puerto Unidos Sur's goalkeeper Martin Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Puerto Unidos Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Eyague hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Martin Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Urko in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Sinbosteros booed when Puerto Unidos Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Urko in the 42nd minute of play. Ariel Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Martin Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sinbosteros's Ariel Alfonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Samuel Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Ariel Alfonso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Elorri, 0-6. Martin Elorri stood somewhat misplaced when Ariel Alfonso came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 60 minute. After a rather tough play, Sinbosteros's Hector Urko got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Sinbosteros booed when Puerto Unidos Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Dominguez's late challenge caught a Sinbosteros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 72 minutes, Ariel Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinbosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Hector Urko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Elorri. Hector Urko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Martin Elorri was a little too slow when Ariel Alfonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-9. 80 minutes into the match, Ariel Alfonso notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Puerto Unidos Sur's Martin Elorri. Martin Elorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Puerto Unidos Sur's goalkeeper Martin Elorri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Laffitte. When Hector Urko came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sinbosteros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Urko couldn't finish the play. Sinbosteros made a substitution. Carlos Ospetsu replaced Ariel Alfonso. A collision led to Puerto Unidos Sur getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alejandro Cordairo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Ospetsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Elorri was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Sinbosteros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
