Caminiaga's Chu Feng threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Rey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Gabriel Rey made a precise shot to the right of Chu Feng. Club SyD CEAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Ezkerra in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. Caminiaga defense, Honorio Ezkerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. The C.A. Caminiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hemming Tjørnum should have stopped the shot. Chu Feng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Frasco in the 33rd minute. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Hemming Tjørnum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Ezkerra went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If Generoso Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.A. Caminiaga getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Delmar Nesto hit a great ball. Hemming Tjørnum came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club SyD CEAF's Honorio Ezkerra. But to his dismay, Honorio Ezkerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Stanislao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chu Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Club SyD CEAF's Denis Salvidor got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hemming Tjørnum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Ezkerra in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Club SyD CEAF were awarded a corner. Nicolas Danel went to the cornerflag to take it. Maximiliano Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Horacio Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Frasco in the 75th minute of play forced Club SyD CEAF's goalkeeper Chu Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Caminiaga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horacio Ranolfo in the 77th minute. The corner ended in Horacio Ranolfo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club SyD CEAF's Chu Feng did a great save. In the 78th minute, Manuel Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Victorino Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Frasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Club SyD CEAF's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Frasco came free, but Chu Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chu Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Frasco in the 84th minute of play. Honorio Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. Chu Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Txeru in the 88th minute of play. Ulises Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, C.A. Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Iago to maneuver through the defense.
