Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Onofre in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Benjamin Onofre got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marciano Sesuldo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Firmat Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Onofre came free, but Marciano Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Mikelats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nunez Distiratsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Placido Mikelats slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, C.A. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Benjamin Onofre made the kick off in the second half. Julian Fagildo's late challenge caught a Firmat Foot Ball Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Nunez Distiratsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 77 minutes into the game, Firmat Foot Ball Club's Elias Oihenarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nunez Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Firmat Foot Ball Club's Jorge Rinaldi was substituted for Elias Oihenarte. In the 81stth minute of the game Kuncho Agüero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Independiente's Nunez Distiratsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Placido Mikelats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Distiratsu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Fabio Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marciano Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Firmat Foot Ball Club had won after a very even match.
