Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Tristan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Nicanor Casado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Abuba Akotonon FC's Ramiro Rey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramiro Rey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Abuba Akotonon FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramiro Rey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 45 minutes Abuba Akotonon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uriel Pietro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Uriel Pietro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vânderson Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Academia Rosarina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Vânderson Barbosa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Academia Rosarina FC's Ubaldo Ibar. Ubaldo Ibar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Elivareo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ubaldo Ibar. That made the score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. Matias Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Academia Rosarina FC's Rigoberto Milian got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ubaldo Ibar made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Vânderson Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Ramón Garay made a precise shot to the right of Ubaldo Ibar. Academia Rosarina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After recieving a nice pass, Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Academia Rosarina FC's Ubaldo Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Garay in the 96th minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
