Silverio Cidro started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cao Jing Jun to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dário Prada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Prada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Prada in the 7th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Betadur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Prada went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's Dário Prada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gene Simmons to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, David Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Los Hornos's Dário Prada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Betadur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Truylos in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Hornos's Mustafa Erhard. Silas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Prada in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Betadur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Dário Prada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Betadur was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Prada in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. Fabio Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Prada's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Dário Prada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Dário Prada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hornos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Dário Prada scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Betadur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Prada was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Los Hornos got a corner. LA DEL MONO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Amato ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabio Betadur was a little too slow when Dário Prada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-6. If Dário Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Prada's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The Los Hornos fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Los Hornos's Dário Prada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oodo Rosin in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Dário Prada could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Fabio Betadur however easily saved by the left post. Silas de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Bastia's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Cao Jing Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas de Andrade having to interfere. Los Hornos made a substitution. Luisito Txaran replaced Armando Rafel. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Prada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Betadur firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henri Pesqueira during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Betadur could save by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's Lucas Staff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oodo Rosin in the 92nd minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Dário Prada sped through LA DEL MONO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Betadur. Oodo Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes, Oodo Rosin made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Hornos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
