Denílson Capixaba scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Tello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adan Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Péter Mogyorós in the 21st minute of play. Javier Stephen succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Adan Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Péter Mogyorós, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Rocky Balboa Team's Denílson Capixaba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adan Tello. Adan Tello yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Rocky Balboa Team's Fermin Valiente suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. When Javier Stephen fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sauzal's protests and gave Javier Stephen a yellow card for diving instead. Rocky Balboa Team made a substitution. Eleuterio Ondino replaced Fermin Valiente. A collision led to Sauzal getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Javier Stephen hit a great ball. The supporters of Rocky Balboa Team booed when Sauzal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Sauzal's goalkeeper Adan Tello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Azenha. Ivan Salbatore's late challenge caught a Rocky Balboa Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Salbatore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Ivan Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Tello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Mero went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Azenha made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Cosme Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Adan Tello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mateo Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Mero in the 64th minute of play forced Sauzal's goalkeeper Adan Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Jorge Mero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocky Balboa Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Mateo Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sebastian Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Chorache in the 71st minute of play. Adan Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Capixaba in the 72nd minute of play. Adan Tello came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Rocky Balboa Team's Américo Azenha. But to his dismay, Américo Azenha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Adan Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play Sauzal's Ivan Salbatore was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Azenha in the 82nd minute of play forced Sauzal's goalkeeper Adan Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sauzal's Apolo Ixaka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Américo Azenha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Sauzal got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Selmo. Péter Mogyorós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Garin's late challenge caught a Rocky Balboa Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Garin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sauzal's Victor Garin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Sauzal defense, Jorge Mero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Tello. The Sauzal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Tello should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rocky Balboa Team fully deserved thier win.
